As part of our 6 Speed Automatic Conversion Program that we have for the 70 Series LandCruisers, we saw the need for an improved braking response. With all the different possible options, we are always a big believer in keeping it simple, so we re-developed the good old brake booster to be a Double Diaphragm Bolt-On Replacement. This means no changes to the metal lines or the master cylinder making this a very simple and easy unit to install.
By increasing the output pressure of the booster to provide greater clamping loads to the calipers, we provide a massive improvement to the braking capability of standard calipers, discs and pads. To handle the increased hydraulic pressure and to also improve the pedal feel, the booster needs to be fitted along with stainless steel braided brake lines.
