Add 2L Full Synthetic Transmission Fluid
When you are installing the transmission cooler you may want to top-up the transmission fluid. Select the “Add 2L Full Synthetic Transmission Fluid” option from the drop-down menu to add 2L of Full Synthetic Transmission Fluid.

Remember the hotter your transmission oil gets the thinner your oil gets. The thinner your oil gets, the more it will leak past valves and end caps. This will cause a number of shift quality issues. By installing a transmission oil cooler, the intended viscosity of the oil remains intact. Not only does this improve shift quality, but it also improves the longevity of the entire transmission.
Unlike cheaper cooler kits, this is a high quality kit constructed by one of the best names in the business that produces over 20,000 of these kits every year. Each kit is built to withstand corrugated roads and potholes as the one-piece mount system takes all the vibrations and impact loads. The coolers are mounted onto this one-piece system in contrast to cheaper systems that try to mount directly onto the cooler. In this situation, the cooler is forced to absorb all the impacts, twist-motions etc. The cooler should never have to directly absorb these impacts. Our mounting system absorbs all of this impact, making our coolers far more durable and less likely to fracture or fail. Our mounting system is not only zinc plated it is also Mannex coated. Mannex coating is a durable industrial coating that goes on over the Zinc plating, making it capable of handling all conditions including prolonged wet road conditions, dirt roads and even salt water exposure. WARNING!!
- Never install a multi-piece transmission cooler bracket or one that includes the transmission cooler as part of the bracket structure. They are prone to fatigue and failure.
- Never install a stainless steel transmission cooler bracket. Stainless steel induces corrosion in your aluminium cooler. Just google “stainless steel and aluminium” to find out more.
